Ask Your ServiceNow Instance. Update Safely.

Research. Approve. Build.

TorchTiger Engineer is a Chrome and Edge extension for ServiceNow developers. It explains how your instance works, then changes it once you approve a plan.

A real ServiceNow instance, not a mock-up: ask, approve a change, roll it back.

What TorchTiger Engineer Does

The core build experience — in every edition

Deep Research

Understand Your Instance

Ask anything about your instance. It searches business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, and flows — then traces the connections.

AI Write Mode

Plan & Approve

Create, update, and delete records through a built-in plan-and-approve workflow. No change runs until you approve, and one approval covers every write in that turn.

Change Log & Revert

Every Change Logged

Every change it makes is logged. Undo reverses a logged change from what Engineer saved at the time, through the Table API, once you approve.

Scoped Update Sets

Isolated & Auditable

Each approved plan creates its own update set in the plan's application scope, so the changes it tracks stay isolated and auditable.

Duplicate Detection

No More Redundant Config

Before creating anything new, it searches existing artifacts and tells you what already exists — so you don't duplicate config.

Built on Anthropic's Claude

Anthropic's Claude models run Engineer's ServiceNow research and code generation.

Built for Security-Conscious Teams

Community has no tracking and nothing goes through TorchTiger. Team checks in with TorchTiger and sends it a record of every AI change.

No ServiceNow Credentials Needed

No ServiceNow password to enter. Engineer rides your signed-in session and your own permissions, and your key stays encrypted under a passphrase only you know.

Minimal Permissions

Runs only on ServiceNow pages, apart from a settings overlay you open yourself, and asks only for what it needs. No remote code.

Human in the Loop

Write mode is off by default. Every create, update, or delete is gated behind an explicit plan-and-approve step.

Supporting a ServiceNow App?

Support staff can ask Engineer how the app works, what an error means, and which script or setting is behind it. They use it on development and test instances, with their own permissions.

For Support Teams

Common Questions

Does TorchTiger Engineer need my ServiceNow password?

No. Engineer rides your existing signed-in ServiceNow session and works within your own permissions, so there is no ServiceNow password or key to enter. Your Anthropic key stays encrypted under a passphrase only you know. On Community nothing goes through TorchTiger; Team also talks to TorchTiger’s servers.

Can TorchTiger Engineer change production?

No. On production the AI switches off: no chat, no reads, no writes; the extension only reads the instance’s settings to tell production apart. It also stays off on any instance it can’t confirm is non-production. On dev and sub-production, write mode is off by default and your Team admin decides which instances allow writes.

Which browsers does TorchTiger Engineer support?

TorchTiger Engineer is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge, version 120 or newer. It runs directly in the browser on service-now.com instances, with no ServiceNow platform plugin to install. Its AI works only on dev and sub-production instances.

Do I need to install a ServiceNow plugin?

No. Engineer is a browser extension, so there’s no platform plugin to install on your instance. Team also uses TorchTiger’s servers, and two web apps it hosts: the Hub and the Engineer web app. Install the extension, connect your AI, then ask your instance questions or approve changes. See how it works, step by step.

Who supplies the AI for TorchTiger Engineer?

It is powered by Anthropic’s Claude. The free Community Edition uses your own Anthropic key. On the Team Edition, your admin sets the AI profile members use — the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, or your own AI gateway.

What does TorchTiger Engineer cost?

Two editions: a free Community Edition (bring your own Anthropic key) and Team at $20 per developer per month. Team is launching soon. See the full editions and pricing comparison.

Start With the Free Community Edition

Bring your own Anthropic key and build on your dev instance — no account, nothing to manage. For a team, see Team ($20/dev/mo).
